About The Event

Welcome to the Songbird Identification Workshop!

Join us for a fun and educational workshop on identifying different types of songbirds and managing your land to provide invaluable habitats for them. Whether you're a birdwatching enthusiast or just starting out, this workshop is perfect for all levels of experience. In this workshop we will be walking through several different forest types, including wet pine (longleaf) savannas that have been managed by the National Park Service for nearly 30 years.

This workshop has been made possible thanks to a partnership with The Nature Conservancy. Funding is provided by National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Natural Resources Conservation Service, US Forest Service, US Department of Defense, International Paper, and Moore Charitable Foundation.
