About The Event
Hyde County Waterfowl ID and Management Workshop
The theme for ForestHer NC programming in 2024 is...wildlife! Our first workshop is focused on waterfowl identification and management techniques.
Hosted at 85 Mattamuskeet Rd, this in-person workshop will take place on Fri, Feb 16, 2024 and begin at 10:00 AM.
During the event, you'll have the opportunity to learn about various waterfowl species, discover effective management strategies to enhance waterfowl populations and their habitats and find out more about participating in the Wildlife Conservation Land Program (WCLP).
Perfect for all skill levels, don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge and connect with fellow waterfowl enthusiasts. We strongly recommend downloading the Merlin Bird app before arriving, as it is an incredibly valuable resource, but service can be spotty in the area. You can find the app on the app store or at this link:  https://merlin.allaboutbirds.org/download/
Registration is $20 and covers lunch: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hyde-county-waterfowl-id-and-management-workshop-tickets-801806022397?utm_experiment=test_share_listing&aff=ebdsshios
