Some topics we may discuss during the workshop:

  • What changes/challenges are occurring to the landscape in NC and what are the impacts?
  • (changes in forest cover, development, fragmentation)
  • What role your land plays.
  • Will have 3-4 speakers to quickly highlight each topic of how forestland provides different ecological services.  Wildlife Habitat, Improve water quality, Healthy, Resilient forest to deal with climate change, invasive pests and plants, carbon sequestration, air quality, shade, quality of life)
